Purpose: Connect for Nissan 14 pin Consult diagnostics port to a compatible 16 pin OBD2 diagnostics scanner
END1:14 pin OBD1 connector fits older Nissan
END2:16 pin diagnostic tool
IMPORTANT! Your OBD2 scanner must be capable of reading OBD1 Codes
If your diagnostic tool does not read OBD then it won't work of course what this does is convert your proprietary Nissan 14 pin to the universal 16 pin connector that was implemented back in 1996 for all auto makers, just get a scanner with obd1 reading functions and it will work, remember your car's ECU need to speak the same language as the scanner tool.
