FAQ

What does CANBUS mean on an LED bulb?
Many newer cars check bulb power to spot a burned-out bulb. LEDs draw less, which can trigger a warning. A CANBUS bulb is built to avoid that error on most vehicles.

Are 3157 and 3156 the same?
They share the same base, but a 3157 has two filaments for tail and brake, and a 3156 has one. A 3157 LED will work in a 3156 socket, but not the other way.

Why do my LED turn signals flash fast?
LEDs draw less current than halogen bulbs, so the flasher thinks a bulb is out. Use a no hyper flash bulb or add a load resistor to bring the flash rate back to normal.
