Installation: 2016-2021 Honda Civic (10th gen (FC) sedan)
Tools: 10 mm socket, Phillips screwdriver, plastic trim tool. About 30-40 minutes per side.
- Open the trunk. Peel back or remove the trunk-side trim liner behind the outer (quarter-panel) lamp.
- Unplug the outer lamp connector and remove its retaining nuts, then pull the lamp straight back.
- Remove the trunk-lid inner trim panel (plastic trim tool) to reach the inner (trunk-lid) lamp.
- Unplug the inner lamp and remove its retaining nuts, then lift it out.
- Fit the new outer and inner sections, refit the nuts and connect the supplied harness (route it so the trunk hinge cannot pinch it).
- Refit the trim and test running, brake, sequential turn and reverse on both sides.
- If the turn signal flashes fast, add a load resistor or LED flasher.
