All-clear frosted Euro OE-style tail lights for the early (pre-facelift) BMW E30 and the E30 M3. The clear lens gives brighter output and a clean, period-correct Euro look.

Fitment

Does not fit: Sept 1987-1991 facelift E30 coupe/sedan/touring or 1991-1993 facelift convertibles (horizontal reverse light).

Specs

• Lens: frosted clear, UV-protected polycarbonate
• Lighting: incandescent; reuses the factory bulb panel
• Bulbs not included: use 1156 red (brake), 1156 amber (turn), 1156 clear (reverse) and 1157/5W (parking) so each function shows the correct color

Replaces OEM 63211368823 (left) and 63211368824 (right).

What's Included

• Left and right tail lights (bulbs not included)

Installation (1984-1987 E30 / E30 M3)

1. Open the trunk and pull back the trim behind each tail light.
2. Squeeze the tabs and lift the factory bulb panel out of the old lamp, leaving it wired.
3. Remove the plastic mounting nuts and take out the old lamp.
4. Fit the new lamp with its gasket on the factory studs and tighten evenly.
5. Reinstall the factory bulb panel; use red bulbs for brake and amber bulbs for turn.
6. Test turn, parking, brake and reverse, then refit the trim.

FAQ

How do I know if my E30 is pre-facelift?
Pre-facelift lamps have a vertical reverse light at the inner edge and chrome bumpers on most cars. Facelift lamps have a horizontal reverse light.

Does it fit the E30 M3?
Yes, all 1988-1991 M3s use this early-style lamp.
