New black-housing halogen headlight pair (amber corner) for the 2009-2012 Toyota RAV4, including the RAV4 Sport. 9006 low, 9005 high, amber turn signal. Bulbs are not included.

What's Included

Installation (2009-2012 Toyota RAV4)

Tools: 10 mm socket and ratchet, Phillips screwdriver, trim/clip tool, masking tape.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the clips across the top of the radiator support cover and the upper grille fasteners.
3. Remove the screws/clips in each front wheel well where the bumper meets the fender, and the bolts and clips along the underside of the bumper.
4. Tape the fender edges, release the bumper cover from the side retainers, unplug the fog lights and lift the cover off.
5. Remove the headlight bolts (2 on top, 1 lower outboard) and pull the lamp forward.
6. Unplug the connectors and twist out the 9005, 9006 and turn signal bulbs.
7. Install the bulbs in the new lamp, bolt it in, reconnect and test.
8. Refit the bumper cover and clips, then aim the beams on a level surface.

FAQ

Will these fit a 2008 RAV4?
No. The 2009 facelift changed the headlight and grille shape. This pair is for 2009-2012 only.

Do I have to remove the front bumper?
Yes. On the 2006-2012 RAV4 the lower headlight bolt sits behind the bumper cover, so the cover comes off first.

What bulb sizes do these use?
High beam 9005, low beam 9006, turn signal 7440 (bulbs NOT included).

Can I put LED bulbs in these?
Yes. These are halogen housings, so 9005/9006 LED conversion kits fit. Use a quality kit with a CANbus decoder if you see flicker or a bulb-out warning, and re-aim the beams after install.
