Installation
- Disconnect the battery and unplug the headlight connector.
- Remove the rubber trim above the grille and the retaining clips beneath it.
- Remove the upper rear screw near the hood hinge, then the lower screw.
- Wiggle the lamp forward and out.
- Fit the new lamp, refit the screws, clips and trim, reconnect and aim the headlights.

What bulbs do these headlights use?

Do I need to remove the front bumper to replace these headlights?
Usually no. Transit Connect owners remove the lamp from above: unplug it, remove the upper rear screw near the hood hinge and the clips under the rubber trim above the grille, then the lower screw, and wiggle it out.
Will these fit a 2010-2013 Transit Connect?
No. The second-generation (2014+) van has a completely different front end and headlight.
Can I install HID or LED kits?
Yes. This is a halogen housing, so a plug-in LED or HID kit in your factory bulb size can be used. Aim the headlights afterward.
