Installation — 2014-2023 Ford Transit Connect

Tools: 8 mm/10 mm socket or Torx driver, plastic trim tool. About 15-20 minutes per side.

1. Open the liftgate or rear door to expose the lamp retaining fasteners on the inner edge of the tail light.
2. Remove the fasteners and pull the lamp rearward to release its locating pins.
3. Unplug the connector (or twist out bulb sockets on bulb-type lamps).
4. Plug in the new lamp, seat it, refit the fasteners and test every function.
