What's Included

Installation

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable (HID high voltage). Open the hood and remove the front compartment side and front sight shields.
2. Remove the wheelhouse-liner screws to the fascia, the four lower push-in retainers, the two lower bolts and the nine upper fascia screws; loosen the lower impact-bar bolt.
3. Release the fascia snaps from the fascia guides one at a time with a nylon wedge and a small flat tool, pull the fascia off and unplug its connectors.
4. Unplug the connector at the top of the headlamp, remove the four headlamp bolts and lift the lamp up and out without hitting the fender.
5. Move your HID bulbs and ballast (and AFS parts if equipped) over, install in reverse (headlamp bolts 2.5 Nm / 22 lb-in, fascia 3 Nm) and aim the headlamps.

Will these fit a non-AFS XTS?
No. AFS will only work if your original lamps have AFS. See our non-AFS version.

Does the bumper have to come off?
Yes. GM's procedure removes the front fascia to reach the four headlamp bolts.

Are bulbs and ballasts included?
No. Reuse your factory HID bulbs, ballasts and high-voltage wires.

Can I install HID or LED kits?
Not applicable. These are factory-style HID/Xenon housings; reuse your factory HID bulbs and ballasts.
