Installation

1. Disconnect the battery. Open the hood and release the clips along the top of the grille and the two clips on each side holding the bumper.
2. Turn the wheel for access, remove the wheel-liner Phillips screws and the rear lower 10 mm bolt, pull the liner back and detach the wheel-opening molding.
3. Remove the two 10 mm bolts at the fender-to-bumper seam on both sides and hinge the bumper cover forward, releasing the two clips under the headlight. Support it on a box.
4. Remove the three 10 mm headlight bolts and unplug the lamp.
5. If the new lamp has a top locating bracket, remove it (T10). Transfer your HID bulbs and ballasts, protect the fender edge with tape, bolt in, refit the bumper and aim.

Do I need to remove the front bumper to replace these headlights?
Mostly. Owners hinge the upper bumper cover forward: release the grille-top clips, the wheel-liner screws and the two 10 mm bolts at each fender seam, then pop the clips under the headlight. Three 10 mm bolts hold the lamp.

Is there anything to remove from a new QX60 headlight before fitting?
Infiniti bulletin ITB19-014 says to remove the locating bracket (T10 Torx) on top of a replacement lamp if one is present, and to tape the fender edge during install.

Can I install HID or LED kits?
