Installation

1. Disconnect the battery. Raise the front, remove the wheels, the engine undercover and the front halves of both fender liners.
2. Remove the radiator core support cover and the grille clips; unplug the parking-sensor/camera connectors in the passenger wheel well and the lower lamp harnesses.
3. Remove the 10 mm bolts that hold the bumper to each fender (do not break the plastic tab) and the bolts along the bottom, release the clips and pull the bumper off.
4. Unplug the headlight connectors and remove the four M6 bolts; lift the lamp out.
5. Install the new lamp, reconnect, refit the bumper, check lights, sensors and camera, then aim the headlights.

The low and high beams are built-in LED units, so there are no headlight bulbs to buy. The listing does not state other bulb sizes; match your factory bulbs.

How do I tell if my Q50 has AFS?
AFS headlights swivel when you turn the wheel at startup and the car has an AFS OFF switch. These lamps are for cars WITHOUT AFS.

Do I need to remove the front bumper to replace these headlights?
Yes. On the Q50 the front bumper comes off: grille, front halves of the fender liners, the 10 mm bumper-to-fender bolts and clips. Each headlight then comes out after four M6 bolts. Be careful not to break the plastic tab at the bumper-to-fender bolt.

Can I install HID or LED kits?
Not applicable. These headlights use built-in LED light sources, so there is no replaceable headlight bulb for a kit.
