Installation
- Raise the front and remove the lower air deflector/splash-shield push pins along the bottom of the bumper.
- Remove the three 7 mm screws in each fender liner, push the liner back and remove the 7 mm bumper bracket bolt behind it.
- Remove the T15 screws across the top and lift off the upper trim, then the two T15 screws above each headlight and the 10 mm bolt in each fender well.
- Release the side clips, unplug the fog/running-light connectors and walk the bumper cover off with a helper.
- Remove the 7 mm and Phillips headlight screws, unplug and remove the lamp, install the new one, reassemble and aim.

No. 2019+ refresh only.
Will these fit a halogen Malibu?
No. Factory LED models only.
Do I need to remove the front bumper to replace these headlights?
Yes. The front bumper fascia has to come off to reach the headlamp bolts. Plan on 1-2 hours with a helper.
Can I install HID or LED kits?
Not applicable. The low and high beams are built-in factory LED; there is no replaceable headlight bulb for an LED or HID kit.
