- Half assembly: HID bulbs, ballasts, and high-voltage wires are NOT included; reuse yours
Installation
- Open the hood, remove the radiator cover (four clips, two T15 bolts) and the two 10 mm bolts beneath it.
- Remove the front T15 wheel-well liner screws, the 7 mm bolt at the fascia/fender seam and the wheel-arch trim on both sides.
- Lift the upper faux grille off its tabs, carefully unclip the fascia from both fenders, pull it forward and unplug its connectors.
- Remove the headlamp upper and lower bolts, unplug and remove the lamp, transfer the D3S bulbs and ballasts, test and refit the fascia, then aim.

Per the listing: D3S HID low beam, bulb and ballast not included.
Will these fit a 2022 Bolt?
No. The 2022 refresh uses different headlights.
Do I need to remove the front bumper to replace these headlights?
Yes. On the 2017-2021 Bolt EV the front bumper cover has to come off to reach the headlamp mounting bolts.
Can I install HID or LED kits?
Not applicable. These are factory-style HID/Xenon housings; reuse your factory HID bulbs and ballasts.
