Installation

1. Disconnect the battery. Remove the eight push clips and the radiator cover, then the six 8 mm and two 5.5 mm upper bumper bolts.
2. Underneath, remove the 7 mm bolts along the bottom of the bumper cover.
3. In each wheel well, remove the three push clips, pull the liner back and remove the 7 mm bumper-to-fender bolt. Unplug the turn, parking and fog connectors.
4. Lift and pull the bumper cover forward off the car.
5. Remove the two 10 mm and one 13 mm headlight bolts, unplug and pull the lamp. Transfer your HID bulbs and ballasts, fit the new lamp, refit the bumper and aim.

Do I need to remove the front bumper to replace these headlights?
Yes. On the S550 Mustang the bumper cover comes off: radiator cover clips, upper 8 mm and 5.5 mm bolts, lower 7 mm bolts and a hidden 7 mm fender bolt each side. Then two 10 mm and one 13 mm bolt hold each headlight.

Will these fit a 2018 Mustang?
No. The 2018 facelift uses a different all-LED headlight and bumper.

Can I install HID or LED kits?
Not applicable. These are factory-style HID/Xenon housings; reuse your factory HID bulbs and ballasts.
