Installation
- Switch the lights and ignition off and disconnect the negative battery cable.
- On the Mercedes-Benz C-Class W205 the module is mounted to the back or underside of the headlamp housing. The front bumper cover is usually removed to unbolt and pull the headlamp forward.
- Unplug the headlamp connector, remove the headlamp to a soft surface and unplug the module.
- Remove the screws holding the module and lift the old unit off. Compare its part number to the numbers above.
- Fit the new module, refit its screws and lock every connector fully. The seller lists it as no modification and no programming needed.
- Reinstall the headlamp and trim, reconnect the battery and test every headlight function. If a lighting fault stays stored, clear it with a scan tool that supports your vehicle.
