What's Included

Installation

1. Raise the car, remove the underbody screws, turn the wheels and remove the wheel-arch clips; release the arch trims and pull the liners aside.
2. Remove the two screws per side holding the bumper corners to the fenders, then open the hood and remove the upper bumper screws and clips.
3. Release the kidney-grille/upper clips, unclip the bumper from the reinforcement, lift it off with a helper and unplug the connectors on the right side.
4. Remove the headlamp mounting bolts, unplug and slide it out, transfer your LED/control modules if needed, refit the bumper and check gaps; coding may be required.

No. These fit non-adaptive LED headlights only.

Do they need coding?
Plug and play in most cases; coding may be needed if a fault appears.

Do I need to remove the front bumper to replace these headlights?
Yes. On the BMW X3 G01 the front bumper cover has to come off to reach the headlamp mounting bolts.

Can I install HID or LED kits?
Not applicable. The low and high beams are built-in factory LED; there is no replaceable headlight bulb for an LED or HID kit.
