Installation — 2013-2017 Cadillac XTS
Tools: 10 mm socket, plastic trim tool. About 15-20 minutes per side.
- Open the trunk and remove or fold back the trunk side trim behind the tail light.
- Unplug the lamp connector.
- Remove the retaining nuts (usually three 10 mm) holding the lamp to the body.
- Pull the lamp out from the outside, fit the new lamp, refit the nuts snug (do not over-tighten plastic studs).
- Plug in, refit the trim and test every function.
