Complete lighting package for your JK—52" windshield-mounted light bar plus A-pillar pod lights with all mounting brackets and wiring. Everything you need to light up nighttime trails or backroads in one box.
Here's the reality of JK ownership: those factory headlights are barely adequate for highway driving, let alone trail work after dark. Whether you're running technical obstacles at night or just trying to spot deer on rural roads, the stock halogen setup leaves you squinting and hoping. This is why nearly every serious JK owner eventually adds auxiliary lighting—it's not about looking cool (though that's a bonus), it's about actually being able to see where you're going.
This combo kit gives you the complete setup in one package. The 52" LED light bar mounts to your windshield hinges using JK-specific brackets that bolt on without drilling. The dual 18W spot pods mount to your A-pillars for fill lighting that eliminates the dark zones your main bar can't reach. Combined, you're looking at 30,000 lumens of 6000K cool white output—that's roughly 10-15 times brighter than your factory headlights. The included wiring harness with relay and switch makes the electrical connection straightforward, even for first-time installers. Mount the brackets, connect the wiring, flip the switch, and suddenly those night runs make a lot more sense.
The windshield pillar brackets bolt to existing mounting points on your JK's A-pillars and windshield frame—no drilling required. The 52" light bar then mounts to the upper portion of the brackets across the top of your windshield. The A-pillar pod mounts attach lower on the same brackets, positioning the 18W spots near the windshield corners. Total bracket installation typically takes 30-45 minutes with basic hand tools (socket set, wrenches). The wiring harness runs from the lights through your hood/cowl area to the battery, with the relay mounted in the engine bay and the switch positioned wherever you want it on the dash. Most JK owners complete the full installation in 1-2 hours. The kit includes detailed instructions, and countless YouTube tutorials walk through the process step-by-step.
The light bar housing is constructed from die-cast aluminum with black powder coating—this material combination resists corrosion while dissipating heat effectively from the LED array. The mounting brackets are steel construction designed to handle the weight and vibration of off-road use without flexing or failing. All lights feature water-resistant seals (typically IP67 rated) to handle stream crossings, pressure washing, and heavy rain. The 6000K color temperature produces a cool white light that's easier on your eyes during extended night driving compared to the harsh blue tint of cheaper LEDs. The combination spot/flood pattern on the main bar gives you distance vision (spot) while also lighting up the trail width (flood)—you need both for effective nighttime running.
