Fix a Dark or Flickering Xenon Headlight

Installation
- Turn the headlights and ignition off and disconnect the negative battery cable. Let the bulb and ballast cool.
- On the Nissan / Infiniti / Subaru / Mazda / Acura the ballast is mounted to the bottom or back of the headlamp housing. Depending on the vehicle you may reach it through the wheel-well liner, or you may need to loosen the bumper cover and unbolt the headlamp to pull it forward.
- Unplug the main power connector and the igniter/bulb lead, then remove the screws holding the ballast to the housing.
- Compare the part number on your old ballast to the numbers above before fitting the new one.
- Fit the new ballast, refit its screws and lock every connector fully. The seller lists it as plug-and-play with no modification and no programming needed.
- Reinstall the headlamp and trim, reconnect the battery and test low beam (and high beam if bi-xenon).
