Installation — 2003-2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 / 2003-2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 / 2003-2006 Chevrolet Silverado 3500
Tools: Phillips screwdriver, plastic trim tool. About 15-20 minutes per side.
- Lower the tailgate to expose the two Phillips screws on the inner edge of the lamp.
- Remove the screws and pull the lamp rearward off its outer locating pins.
- Twist out the bulb sockets and unplug the lamp from the harness.
- Fit the sockets to the new LED lamp (install a 3157 reverse bulb, not included), plug in and seat the lamp on the pins.
- Refit the two screws, then test tail, brake, turn and reverse.
