Installation: 2019-2024 Toyota RAV4 (5th gen (XA50))

Tools: 10 mm socket, Phillips screwdriver, plastic trim tool. About 20-30 minutes per side.

1. Open the liftgate and remove the small trim cover inside the cargo area behind the tail light.
2. Unplug the factory connector and remove the retaining nuts / screws holding the lamp.
3. Pull the lamp straight back to release it from the body clips.
4. Fit the new lamp, connect it with the supplied harness and refit the fasteners.
5. Refit the trim cover.
6. Test running, brake, turn and reverse on both sides.
7. If the turn signal flashes fast, add a load resistor or LED flasher.
