Installation — 2002-2009 Land Rover Range Rover
Tools: Phillips screwdriver or T25 Torx, plastic trim tool. About 15-20 minutes per side.
- Open the upper tailgate/liftgate. The tail light is held from the side edge of the body opening by two screws behind a small trim cover.
- Pry off the trim cover with a plastic tool and remove the two retaining screws.
- Pull the lamp straight rearward off its locating pegs and unplug the connector (twist out the bulb holder if you are transferring bulbs).
- Transfer or fit bulbs, plug the new lamp in, locate the pegs and refit the screws and cover.
- Test tail, brake, turn and reverse before closing the tailgate.
