Installation

1. Open the hood and pry the push clip out of the top of the headlight trim panel. Remove the two 7 mm bolts in the wheel well and pull the trim off.
2. Remove the six 10 mm bolts and one 8 mm bolt from the lower headlight bracket, release its clip with needle-nose pliers and remove the bracket.
3. Remove the two upper 10 mm headlight bolts, lift the spring clip, and remove the hidden 10 mm bolt with an extension.
4. Pull the headlight out and unplug it.
5. Plug in the new lamp, refit the three bolts, the bracket and trim, check the lights and aim.

What bulbs do these headlights use?
These are full-LED headlights with built-in LED sources and the LED module included, so there are no headlight bulbs to buy.

Will these fit a halogen F-150?
No. These plug into trucks that came with factory LED headlights; halogen trucks use a different connector and would need conversion.

Do I need to remove the front bumper to replace these headlights?
No. On the 2015-2017 F-150 you remove the headlight trim panel and the lower bracket (six 10 mm, one 8 mm), then three 10 mm headlight bolts, including a hidden one reached with an extension.

Can I install HID or LED kits?
Not applicable. These headlights use built-in LED light sources, so there is no replaceable headlight bulb for a kit.
