Installation

1. Turn the lights off, open the hood and disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the two 10 mm bolts and the plastic retainer at the top rear of the headlamp.
3. Pull the rear corner of the lamp up to release it from the retainer on the cross member and the clip into the top of the bumper cover, then unplug it. (Ford's service manual has the bumper cover removed; owners report it is not required.)
4. Clip the new halogen lamp into the bumper cover, plug it in, refit the bolts and retainer and aim the headlights.

Will these fit an Edge with HID?
No. These are for factory halogen cars only.

Do they fit a 2019 Edge?
No. The 2019 refresh uses a different lamp.

Do I need to remove the front bumper to replace these headlights?
Usually no. Owners report the lamp comes out from the top after removing two bolts and a retainer, though Ford's manual removes the bumper.

What bulbs do these use?

Can I install LED or HID kits?
Yes. This is a halogen housing, so a plug-in LED or HID kit in your factory bulb size can be used. Aim the headlights afterward.
