- Remove the grille-area and upper fascia 10 mm bolts and the 8 mm bolts under the bumper, then the three fender-lip bolts reached through the liner.

FAQs
What bulbs do these headlights use?
Per the listing: LED low beam, running and side marker; 3757A turn signal included; HB3 high beam and LED module not included (reuse yours).
Do I need to move my LED module?
Yes. The LED driver module is not included; transfer it from your original headlights.
Do I need to remove the front bumper to replace these headlights?
Yes. Ford's owner manual says the front fascia must come off for 2016-2018 Explorer headlamp removal (about 2 hours labor).
Can I install HID or LED kits?
Only the halogen HB3 (9005) high beam can take a plug-in LED or HID bulb; the low beam is a built-in factory LED and is not serviceable with a kit.
