What's Included
- Left and right tail lights (bulbs not included)
Installation (1988-1993 E30 facelift)
- Open the trunk and pull back the trunk-side trim behind each tail light.
- Squeeze the tabs and remove the bulb carrier from the old lamp (leave it wired).
- Remove the plastic mounting nuts and pull the old lamp out of the body.
- Fit the new lamp with its gasket on the factory studs and tighten the nuts evenly.
- Clip the factory bulb carrier into the new lamp. Use amber bulbs for the turn signals if your car has clear bulbs.
- Test turn, parking, brake, reverse and fog, then refit the trim.
FAQ
Do these fit my 1986 325e?
No. The 1984-1987 pre-facelift tail lights are a different shape.
Do they fit the E30 M3?
No, the M3 uses a different lamp.
