Installation

1. Park on level ground, disconnect the 12 V battery, raise the front and remove the wheel on the side being replaced.
2. Remove the inner fender splash shield to reach the back of the headlamp (owners on ChevyBolt.org note the lamp sits behind this shield).
3. For full access, remove the front bumper fascia fasteners (upper, wheel-well and lower) and pull the fascia forward.
4. Remove the upper and lower headlamp screws, pull the lamp forward and unplug it. The lamp is a sealed unit.
5. Install the new headlight in reverse order, test every function and check aim.

No. This listing is for the 2022-2023 Bolt EUV only.

Do I have to disconnect the high-voltage battery?
No. Disconnect the 12 V battery only; the headlights are on the 12 V system.

Usually. Owners reach the back of the lamp through the wheel-well liner, and the bumper fascia comes off for full access to the mounting screws.
