Installation

1. Switch the lights and ignition off and disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. On the Mercedes-Benz E-Class W212 the module is mounted to the back or underside of the headlamp housing. The front bumper cover is usually removed to reach the headlamp mounting bolts.
3. Unplug the headlamp connector, remove the headlamp to a soft surface and unplug the module.
4. Remove the screws holding the module and lift the old unit off. Compare its part number to the numbers above.
5. Fit the new module, refit its screws and lock every connector fully. The seller lists it as no modification and no programming needed.
6. Reinstall the headlamp and trim, reconnect the battery and test every headlight function. If a lighting fault stays stored, clear it with a scan tool that supports your vehicle.
