Installation

1. Switch the lights and ignition off and disconnect the battery per Volvo procedure.
2. The module mounts on the back/underside of the LED headlamp housing. On most of these models the front bumper cover is loosened or removed to unbolt and pull the headlamp.
3. Unplug the headlamp connector and remove the headlamp to a soft surface.
4. Remove the screws holding the module, unplug it and remove the old unit.
5. Confirm your old module reads 31427776 or 31427787, fit the new module and lock the connector.
6. Reinstall the headlamp and bumper, reconnect the battery and test all headlight functions. The seller lists it as no programming needed; if a fault stays stored, clear it with a Volvo-capable scan tool.
