Installation: 2007-2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser (XJ10)

Tools: 10 mm socket, Phillips screwdriver, plastic trim tool. About 15-20 minutes per side.

1. Open the rear door. Each tail light is held by two screws on its inner edge, visible in the rear door opening.
2. Remove the two screws, then pull the lamp straight back to release its outer clips from the body.
3. Unplug the factory connector and set the old lamp aside.
4. Connect the new lamp (supplied harness where included), routing the wire so it is not pinched.
5. Align the lamp on its clips, press it home and refit the fasteners.
6. Test running, brake, turn and reverse on both sides.
7. If the turn signal flashes fast, add a load resistor or LED flasher.
