When the HID ballast fails, the headlight flickers, shuts off after warming up or will not light at all. This 12V replacement fits the driver or passenger side and mounts where the factory 68033739AA ballast was.

What's Included

Installation
- Turn the headlights off and disconnect the negative battery cable. Let the bulb cool.
- The ballast mounts to the bottom of the headlamp housing. On the Charger, Challenger and Magnum the headlamp normally has to be unbolted and pulled forward to reach it; some cars need the grille or fascia loosened first.
- Unplug the headlamp connectors and remove the headlamp.
- Remove the screws holding the ballast, unplug it and take off the old 68033739AA unit.
- Install the new ballast, refit the screws and lock both connectors.
- Refit the headlamp, reconnect the battery and test the low beams.
- Replace an old or discolored HID bulb at the same time; the seller recommends it to protect the new ballast.
Xenon systems carry high voltage. Never work on the ballast with the lights on.
