Installation

1. Switch the lights and ignition off and disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. On the listed BMW models the module is mounted to the back or underside of the headlamp housing. On most of these cars the front bumper cover is removed to unbolt and pull the headlamp.
3. Unplug the headlamp connector, remove the headlamp to a soft surface and unplug the module.
4. Remove the screws holding the module and lift the old unit off. Compare its part number to the numbers above.
5. Fit the new module, refit its screws and lock every connector fully. The seller lists it as no modification and no programming needed.
6. Reinstall the headlamp and trim, reconnect the battery and test every headlight function. If a lighting fault stays stored, clear it with a scan tool that supports your vehicle.
