Installation
- Disconnect the battery. Turn the wheels, remove the three T25 wheel-liner screws and the upward T25 bumper-to-fender screw on each side.
- Remove the four T25 screws on top of the grille, then the T25 screws under the bumper corners and center.
- Pull evenly at the fender seam to release the side clips, unclip the center latches, and unplug fog lights and ACC/front-assist sensors before lifting the bumper off.
- Remove the headlamp T30 bolts, unplug the lamp, install the new one flush with the fender and with its bottom slots on the bumper tabs; refit and aim.

Will these fit a Jetta GLI?
No. GLI uses projector headlights.
Do I need to remove the front bumper to replace these headlights?
Yes. On the 2019-2024 MK7 Jetta the front bumper cover has to come off to reach the headlamp mounting bolts.
Can I install HID or LED kits?
Not applicable. The low and high beams are built-in factory LED; there is no replaceable headlight bulb for an LED or HID kit.
