While the housing is a direct fit for the 2004-2013 inner fairing, we recommend reusing your factory Harley-Davidson adjustment bolts, as the supplied aftermarket screws may be longer than necessary for some setups. Secure the main power connector with a zip tie to prevent vibration from working it loose over time. Owners of 1998-2003 FLTR models may also install this unit, though minor modification to the mounting bucket may be required.
