Installation

1. Remove the T25 screws at the top of the upper grille panel on each side.
2. In each wheel well remove the T25 liner screws (including the upward-facing one into the fender), then the T25 screws along the underside of the bumper.
3. Pull the bumper away from the fenders, release the side guides and pull the bumper and grille straight forward; unplug the fog lights if equipped.
4. Remove the four T30 headlamp bolts (two on top, one rearward, one lower inboard), pull the lamp out and unplug the connector at its lower inboard side.
5. Install the new lamp, start all four bolts by hand before tightening, refit the bumper and aim the headlights.

Will these fit a Jetta with an LED DRL strip?
No. These are the halogen lamps without the LED strip.

Will these fit a Jetta SportWagen?
No. The SportWagen uses a different (Golf-based) front end.

Do I need to remove the front bumper to replace these headlights?
Yes. On the Mk6 Jetta the bumper and grille come off to reach the four T30 headlamp bolts.

What bulbs do these use?
The listing specifies H7; bulbs are included.

Can I install LED or HID kits?
Yes. This is a halogen housing, so a plug-in LED or HID kit in your factory bulb size can be used. Aim the headlights afterward.
