Installation

1. Open the hood, remove the eight clips and lift off the radiator trim panel, then remove the two 7 mm and four 10 mm screws holding the top of the bumper.
2. Remove the four screws under the bumper, then the three screws in each wheel arch and release the arch trims.
3. Remove the bumper-corner screw on each side, pull the corners out of the fender tabs and, with a helper, pull the bumper forward and unplug the fog-light harness.
4. Unplug the headlamp, remove its four screws (2.5 N-m), fit the new lamp, refit the bumper and aim the headlights.

FAQs

Will these fit an Encore GX?
No. Original Encore 2017-2020 only.

Will these fit a 2016 Encore?
No. The 2017 refresh uses different lamps.

Do I need to remove the front bumper to replace these headlights?
Yes. The front bumper fascia has to come off to reach the headlamp bolts. Plan on 1-2 hours with a helper.

Can I install HID or LED kits?
Not applicable. The low and high beams are built-in factory LED; there is no replaceable headlight bulb for an LED or HID kit.
