Installation

1. Park, turn the headlights off and disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. The driver module is part of the headlamp assembly. On the 2021 Suburban and Tahoe, the front fascia/grille area normally needs to be loosened or removed to unbolt and pull the headlamp.
3. Unplug the headlamp connectors and remove the headlamp to a soft work surface.
4. Remove the screws holding the driver module to the headlamp housing, unplug it and remove the old unit.
5. Confirm the old module reads 84551653, fit the new module, refit its screws and lock the connector.
6. Reinstall the headlamp and trim, reconnect the battery and test low and high beams.
