    Camaro LED Headlights

Posted by Austin Roberts on Jan 15th 2022

These lights definitely make your car look super nice and definitely makes it better to see the road and lines. They also have the positive and negative markings on the plugin part of the H7 connector which I really like. The only things that I dislike about these lights is with the lights having the “dome cover” over the LED’s about 50% of the light is just shot up into the air and not the road. Another is when you turn on your lights at night, the 3 dome covers give a weird look on the road like W’s mixed over each other instead of a soft shine like normal lights and so there are small black lines in the front of your car.
For the instillation it’s pretty easy as its just like putting in normal headlights, but since they use a different connector than stock (1993 Camaro). What i did for installation (one headlight) was buy a H7 connector with wires pre-attached, buy a 9005 connector that has a 9005 male on one end and female on the other, and 2 butt connectors. I cut off the male part of the 9005 so you have extra wire after you plug it into the factory connector, crimp the 9005 connector wire with the h7 connector wire, then plug the H7 into your headlight correctly and boom your done. So if you ever need to put in a incandescent bulb, you can just unclip your diy connector and just plug right into the incandescent without any wire tapping.
